Sweet & Sour Ginger

Makes 1 cup.

A tasty accompaniment to your meal.

Ingredients.

  • 3 tablespoons finely chopped or sliced tender ginger.
  • For the herbal sauce -
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar.
  • 2 teaspoons white vinegar.
  • 1/2 teacup water.
  • juice of 1 lemon.
  • 2 pinches salt.

Preparation.

For the herbal sauce

  1. Mix the sugar, vinegar, water, lemon juice and salt.
  2. If required, adjust the sweetness by adding more powdered sugar.

How to proceed

  1. Mix the ginger with the sauce.
  • Serve as an accompaniment.
