Crispy Fried Vegetables

Cooking time :: 15 minutes.
Makes 25 pieces.
A popular chinese starter.
Ingredients.
- 3 teacups vegetables
- (baby com, capsicums, cabbage and cauliflower), cut into long strips.
- oil for deep frying.
- For the batter -
- 5 tablespoons corn flour.
- 5 tablespoons plain flour.
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste.
- 1/4
teaspoon black pepper powder.
- 1/4 teaspoon Ajinomoto powder (optional).
- 1
teaspoon lemon juice.
- To serve -
green garlic sauce and
Schezuan sauce.
Preparation.
- Mix the ingredients for the batter and add enough water to make a thick batter.
- Dip the strips into the batter and deep fry in oil.
