Green peas soup

Preparation time :: 20 minutes.
Cooking time :: 10 minutes.
Serves :: 6.

Ingredients.

  • 6 teacups clear vegetable stock.
  • 1 teacup shelled tender green peas.
  • 1/2 teacup finely chopped cabbage.
  • 1/2 teacup small cauliflower florets.
  • 1/2 teacup finely chopped carrot.
  • 2 pinches Ajinomoto powder (optional).
  • 2 pinches sugar.
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper powder.
  • 1 teaspoon soya sauce.
  • 3 level tablespoons corn flour.
  • 2 tablespoons oil salt to taste.

Preparation.

  1. Heat the oil on a high flame in a wok.
  2. Add the vegetables and Ajinomoto and stir fry over a high flame for 3 to 4 minutes.
  3. Add the stock and the sugar, pepper powder and salt. Mix the soya sauce and corn flour in 1/2 cup of water and add this mixture to the soup.
  4. Cook for 3 minutes while stirring continuously.
  • Serve hot with chillies in vinegar, soya sauce and chilli sauce.
