Green peas soup
Preparation time :: 20 minutes.
Cooking time :: 10 minutes.
Serves :: 6.
Ingredients.
- 6 teacups clear vegetable stock.
- 1 teacup shelled tender green peas.
- 1/2 teacup finely chopped cabbage.
- 1/2 teacup small cauliflower florets.
- 1/2 teacup finely chopped carrot.
- 2 pinches Ajinomoto powder (optional).
- 2 pinches sugar.
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper powder.
- 1 teaspoon soya sauce.
- 3 level tablespoons corn flour.
- 2 tablespoons oil salt to taste.
Preparation.
- Heat the oil on a high flame in a wok.
- Add the vegetables and Ajinomoto and stir fry over a high flame for 3 to 4 minutes.
- Add the stock and the sugar, pepper powder and salt. Mix the soya sauce and corn flour in 1/2 cup of water and add this mixture to the soup.
- Cook for 3 minutes while stirring continuously.
- Serve hot with chillies in vinegar, soya sauce and chilli sauce.
