Clear vegetable stock
Preparation time :: 5 minutes.
Cooking time :: 20 minutes.
Makes 6 teacups.
This stock is used for soups and gravies.
Ingredients.
- 1/2 teacups cabbage, roughly chopped.
- 3 carrots, roughly chopped.
- 5 to 6 celery stalks.
- 2 tablespoons chopped spring onions with leaves.
- 3 to 4 pieces cauliflower.
Preparation.
- Boil all the vegetable in 8 teacups of water on a medium flame for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Allow the vegetable to settle at the bottom of the vessel and pour out the vegetable stock.
