Chinese Steamed Rice

Preparation time :: 5 minutes.
Cooking time :: 20 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 teacup long grained rice.
  • 2 teacups water.
  • 1 tablespoon refined oil.
  • 1 teaspoon salt.

Preparation.

  1. Wash the rice thoroughly.
  2. Boil the water and add the salt and oil. Add the rice and cook until tender.
  3. Remove from the heat and allow to cool. Separate the grains with a fork.
  • Serve when required.
